Welcome to Let Your Words Flow: a Daily Quote, Prompt and Image for your Creative Inspiration.
A simple note before the prompting and quotes, etc begin - I've decided on Monday to use very unusual images that will make you think deeply - which is why I boldly carried on a conversation with this young man last Monday, used the quote I chose and asked the questions/prompted like I did. Take time with the prompts if necessary, but please do take the time to write/create/grow from them.
If this is your first visit, you will want to visit our Let Your Words Flow Guide so that you will receive the most value from the life changing content you find here.
Now - on with today's inspiration:
Quote:
"I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next."
Gilda Radner
Questions:
What sort of ending do you want? Describe it, in detail
What is one lesson you learned the hard way? Tell the story of one of those lessons.
Lists:
Make a list of 5 to 10 lessons you have learned the hard way.
Make a list of 5 to 10 different endings your life could have. Include at least one or two that are completely ridiculous and outside of how your life is today -
Traditional Writing Prompts:
When I think of the school of hard knocks, what comes to mind is....
It really bothers me when people glorify....
I tend to romanticise.....
Thank you for your reading & participation in Let Your Words Flow! Please come back as we offer new prompts to spice up your blogging, writing and creative thinking every day!
