Let's
I know, this will not sound normal for some of you but here it is: I love Mondays.
They are my favorite day of the week.
Each Monday marks a brand new start, a white canvas, a fresh clean slate to create our lives upon.
We have the privilege of seeing it for what it is: a celebration, an affirmation, a time of jubilation!
Let's be countercultural and say "I love Mondays!"
Here are some questions to contemplate and also companion open ended writing or creativity prompts:
What am I looking forward to this week?
I am looking forward to….
(To be done as a mid-day check in)
What have I accomplished today?
What will I do to celebrate my tiniest accomplishment such as taking out the trash or finding my missing planner to “I got a raise!” or “My article got published in the Huffington Post!”?
Make a list of your accomplishments as they happen and name it “My Ta-Da list,” another counter-cultural experience to naturally manifest more good experiences AND create a renewed relationship with to-do lists and goals in general.
Follow these simple steps and I guarantee your relationship with Mondays will change.
I think our entire culture would benefit from taking on such a shift.
Celebrate your day and please let me know how it goes!
