I joyfully finished this art journal page yesterday. Oh, it made my heart sing.
Instead of waiting for gouache to dry - I didn't want it to dry, actually, I wanted to pull prints with it... and in doing so I created some impressive (to me) effects on vintage book pages. Until now, I hadn't read the very engaging and now, quite funny, observations of the many years ago writer discussing drivers of the 1940's and 1950's. Such fun vocabulary!
Underneath these art journal layers lives these earlier thoughts - reminding me we might not remember what shapes our thoughts yet underneath it all, it is there - among other things.
