This weekend I am participating in the Biannual Blog-a-thon Blast.
It seems like every year it begins when I am juggling a bunch of other activities AND I am going to give it my all as best as I can.
Last time I made some really simple (and meaningful!) tweaks to my blog, learning even after all these years of blogging.
This time around, I have some different goals in order to get the most out of my weekend.
- 1. Participate in at least six mini challenges.
- 2. Create a Blog Calendar & a system for making my writing a daily top priority – and the first thing I do before emailing and social media, etc.
- 3. Start preparing for building my planned blog to Wordpress. I even bought a new computer solely for my blogging/writing. It is time to get serious with this one. Starting on the first day of Summer seems perfect.
- 4. Enjoy networking with other bloggers.
- 5. Exercise each day of the challenge
- 6. Be prepared to add to and/or modify this goal list, knowing it is normal and to be expected and doesn’t mean I am a failure, it means I am flexible… especially in the Summer when my schedule is mostly kid centric so I have a tendency to simply “turn my schedule on a dime” if I need to do so.
I also want to remember to express my gratitude and thanks to our host Kathleen Garber and her co-hosts: Kecia Hambrick, Meagan Paullin and Ellen Lafleche-Christian.
You give your all to this work and we are all better for it!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
