"What are Your Secret Passions?" Silly Me - I didn't realize I had any! What about you?

I don’t have many secrets about passion. I have some lesser known passions to these folks or those folks or the other associates over there, but I am an open book as far as passion stands.

Some category of buddies might not realize I am passionate about the smell of aging musty dusty books. They also don’t know I am oddly passionate about ripping out pages and repurposing them. They don’t know how I love pages that may not have been touched for decades and making them into art, to be revered and touched and gazed upon, finally learned from on a daily basis.

I am passionate about underbelly places.

Perhaps you knew this about me, perhaps you didn’t.

I am passionate about the untalkaboutables, the grit the grime the indecent. Why beautify it according to what convention labels as attractive? It is just right as it is and so compelling to my ever open minded thankfully naïve “Yes we can!” or “Si, se puede!” self.

I am passionate for other “unders”.

Underdogs.

Pretty underwear.

Looking under rocks and other surprising undersides, like the back side of sunset or sunrise from the other horizon.

I suppose underneath all of this is other secret passions, still calling to the dark lightness.

Now I get it: I do have secret passions afterall which are now known by me and by you.
