This week has been a time of preparation and layering.
My love for all things literary and my love for color and texture and using images as exclamation points has brought about some Women’s Sphere art that is delighting, surprising and seems to be pushing me even deeper into my exploration of dynamic women of literary history.
I am combining these loves in my participation in the April A-Z challenge. So far, so wonderful. Today I featured Adelaide Crapsey, inventor of the American Cinquain form of poetry.
Here is a cinquain I wrote today both in honor of Adelaide and because I plan to write a cinquain daily in April.
Cinquain of the day – April 1

E is for Elinor - This is Elinor Wylie:
I have so much I could share with you about her, but I would prefer you check back later this week, on E day, Friday, to learn more. It is an exciting month of passionate layering!
These two images are made with slightly different techniques.
I would love if you would let me know which one speaks more to you and why.
Word-art-passion-layer love to you all!
