This morning Jamie Ridler asks this of her Wishcasting Community:
What do you wish to celebrate?
I’ve been feeling the tension of rebirth lately, bubbling up like pitocin in my veins, saying “Dilate, Julie, Dilate…. No need to push simply dilate.” In other words, Open. Open. Open.
Soon the pitocin becomes unnecessary as I let the natural rhythms take over.
I found this poem I wrote in 2009:
April 12 Morning
song of unnamed
yet well known bird
says welcome home
as I open the door
to rebirth, hope,
golden rays of crisp
new days ahead
like sliding a cotton
slightly starched
shirt over my head
like the first sip
of a lovingly made
cup of coffee
like my pencil
scratching first thoughts
on the page
another perfect
morning of mornings
begins
This morning I looked at the sun’s heralds paint the morning sky a familiar peachy orange color.
I wrote this haiku:
Tangerine sherbet
wedding punch drenches the sky
marry this morning
I wish to celebrate my rebirth and my playful, passionate marriage to each day as it unfolds.
