Tonight even my eyes are weary.
I have had such a Creative whirlwind week - even more than normal - all I can think about right now is my pillow and eyes closed and all my muscles completely relaxed.
Almost time, almost time.
My biggest creative adventure in the past week was writing Upper La Cresta Sojourn. I thought I would be ready to edit it by this Monday but I am not. I will shoot for next Monday and be open. Remain heart open and word-love open.
One of my favorite parts of this adventure beyond the writing of the book length poem was taking photos and videos to document the event.
I wanted to share a couple of them here to be my Creative Every Day Monday Check-in this week.
First - in the Mid-Morning I had a soulful moment and quite a discovery within a tunnel not far from my home.
What do you see in what I saw?
Second - as the Sun was heading toward the horizon, Samuel and Hank walked along the bluffs as I walked and wrote and sat and wrote. It was heavenly.
What does this photo inspire in you?
I am smiling contentedly, thinking back to Katherine's comments when she was just a little girl. She stood on these same bluffs overlooking the oilfields and said, "Sometimes you just have to admit it, Bakersfield is beautiful."
