I wish to say no to self-effacing comments and limiting my gifts and abilities because of what other people have said to me or what their opinions are. I wish to say no to “not saying that” to whatever it is that is truthful and needs to be said, or wants to be said, or needs to be said solely by me.
I haven't participated in Wishcasting Wednesday in a long time - and when I did it was only once because I couldn't get the linky to work and then I got confused and yada yada but today I am back and guess what? I don't have to worry about the linky thing anymore...
Wow!
Over at Jamie Ridler's Studio, there is a weekly prompt for wishing in community..... this week it is "I WISH TO SAY NO to..." and what flowed was what follows.
What do you wish to say no to?
I wish to say no to floods of hurt washing over me because I have listened too long to other critical comments that aren’t even about me, they are about the criticizer. Floods of hurt. What a great way to say it – because the hurt feels like that, a washing of my skin with sadness.
I wish to say no to denial and instead, be with what is so without apology.
I wish to say no to self-destruction because of the comments or limitations I impose on myself, sometimes relentlessly. Oftentimes relentlessly.
I wish to say no to forgetting what I remember.
I remember love, which I say yes to in abundance.
I wish to say no to the mirrors that don’t believe in me because the mirrors that DO believe in me are the accurate ones.
I wish to say no…
