I continue, valiantly, with my Blogging through the Best09 Blog challenge from Gwen Bell. It has been fantabulous so far… I was pleased (and delighted) by the responses to my post yesterday which I thought was a pretty feeble attempt to make something from what felt like a whole lot of nothing from what could have been an intriguing prompt. The prompt certainly made me more aware of packaging. If you didn’t read yesterday’s and are curious, I have linked to "The Art of Recycling - from No Answer to "A-ha, an Answer!" here.
Now,
onto today’s Best09 Prompt: December 16 Tea of
the year. I can taste my favorite tea right now.
What's yours?
I live, some days, for
the sheer pleasure of Zambien Zing which to my knowledge is only available only at Dagny’s Coffee here in
(This photo is title Thich Nhat Hanh, Chocolate Cake, Latte and Zambien Zing.)
I even Googled Zambien
Zing just to be sure it wasn’t available to the mass market (had a momentary
thought of stocking up on it!) only to find the only mentions of Zambien Zing
Green tea was from things I had written on line: One from a Poem I wrote while actually drinking Zambien Zing at Dagny's and one from a Gratitude list on 43things.com. Made me smile. Yay for being
in the top Google listing of something obscure like… Zambien Zing, eh?
A theme has come up repeatedly, though, as we sail through our recaps of 2009 through Gwen Bells Best09 Blog Challenge. Apparently my BEST best of 09 isn’t the stuff we categorize and put on lists, but it is the experiences of connection I have with other people… mostly beloveds… as I consume/use/notice/enjoy the other sides of the Best of 09.
It isn’t so much the stuff, it is the connections with the love. The stuff is the gravy, or in this case, the tea.
