One of the goals I am working on right now - during this time of waiting and continuing to work through my many layers of grief - is to take a daily self portrait which I then post on flickr.com.
That is a self portrait a day for 365 consecutive days. Yesterday afternoon I took to my front lawn and wanted to use my timer so I experimented a bit.. and then Sam thought this was too enticing to just watch. He had to be a part of it.
This shot was NOT taken with my timer, but I love how it turned out... even with my crows feet and wrinkle on my forehead, I love how I see Sam's eyes, poking over my shoulder.
They are always present in my mind, my children are - so much a part of me.
Such a blessing.
Even when I rant and rave and complain.
(I need to remember this especially when I rant, rave and complain.)
