My friend, Tess Kincaid, tagged me in a five day poetry challenge. Naturally I received it right as I was walking out the door to Burbank this morning. I had a choice: link to an old poem before I walked out the door or trust the muse would appear.
Well, she did - in the form of a Fibonacci Poem. This form is short, it is numerical so contained. I look forward to writing something more lengthy tomorrow AND it is my intention to offer brand new material during the challenge. I haven't written as much poetry this year so I look forward to the daring within this poetry opportunity.
don’t
I don’t
I don’t want
I don’t want to wait.
Patience, waltz out the back door now.
You are no longer welcome where my feet wake and sleep.....

Come visit for the next four days to see where the poetry muse
takes us on this adventure, thanks to Tess Kincaid - who, by the way,
is responsible for Magpie Tales, which is the place I
look for weekly poetry prompting. Check her out this Sunday and
write along with the community there.
