Where did I leave my hat?

Is it in the vestibule, amidst the umbrellas and mittens

Or perhaps it is tucked away in my closet

Even, I suppose, in the lazerette to the right of the hatch

I need it now like I needed it for all those yesterdays

Today, like before, no one who can retrieve it listens

Where did I leave my hat?
