I am behind in my posting, thoughI have written daily. At the least, my twitter haiku has continued to grace the air waves. For now, though, I will post my longer form poems... three in one day.
Bear with me, OctPoWriMo friends!
Morning Star
Bright outside
the Eastern window,
You call me to worship.
Your chime's
silent ring
before dawn's break
calms the confused
far off rooster. He
chants "It's morning!
It's morning!"
He is right, though
your light
is not the sun.
Her dawn is
yet to come.
