My contribution to this week's Magpie Tales: it has been too long of a gap between attending and writing here. Always grateful for the inspiration.
Today's poem & Today's Image -
Longing Fulfilled
No need to say, “I want my rye toast with butter.”
No need to say, “Mix my cranberry juice with water.”
No need to say “I am not well”
Love knows.
Longing.
Fulfilled.
A beautiful thought, beautifully expressed.

A wonderfully worded poem, Julie. You've captured the heart and soul of fulfillment and of course, love. Thank you for sharing this. =D

In true love, words are unnecessary...

:) I know my honey likes his toast buttered to the edges, I KNOW my daughter likes her eggs over easy - but still runny, and that my youngest would prefer a pop-tart every day if I would let him. :)
