love the water and the sunset in your images...
your poem makes it more profound to be there...
Happy Potluck!

I think that it is cool! Love it for its visual words! Here's mine http://thelunaticsdiary.blogspot.com/2010/10/wimderfehl-and-lovelorn.html

...the fog the sunset the light mist
the unseeing clarity that comes
and goes with the tides, in and out
and large and mottled against my skin
we greet each other once again...

...beautiful lines...serene piece of writing.

Beautiful... leaving, arriving, healing and growing... I liked the metaphor of hat... Thanks for sharing...

Ah, now this is beautiful, Julie. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you. And I see you too write villanelles, rondel/triolet/rondeaus? Do you do sonnets also? Villanelles my favourite. I have yet to do a pantoum, but will soon I hope. I think the crazy sestina can wait. Let's not forget the free-verse and blank-verse... if I get too obsessed with form I start writing from my head and not my heart.
