Ah, yes! That would be a wonderful place to return to.


oh, I love this! I feel like I was right there in the cab with you.


One of my favorite vacations was years ago now to Vermont in autumn. We had friends living there whom we visited, which of course was our main goal. We took the time to tour the countryside, stopping in Revolutionary War era graveyards among other sites. The graveyards were my favorite. On that same visit we stopped at Old Sturbridge Village to see the living museum. On our way back home, we dined one last time with our friends at Anthony's Pier 4 in Boston on our last night before flying back to Oregon. Somewhere around here I have pictures.

For me that is what your visit evoked, memories of Vermont in the turning of the year, memories of a palpable sense of history.
