The image from Magpie Tales prompt this week slayed me. I couldn't write anything except this. I decided after balking internally the best thing I could do was write exactly what I wrote. Nothing more and nothing less.
Check out the prompt here, at Magpie Tales. Join in the writing - I always love it, even when this happens. ^giggles^
I won't write this photo.
I refuse to take the pathosand bleed it onto the page.
I can't do confessional.
And I refuse to do fictional.
So I will stand here, arms
folded across my chest and
shout, "Hell no!" and leave
before any more damage
is done. I won't write this photo.
nice flow - love the strength and conviction of the piece - so resolute

Somehow I can't see the lady, just the cloth/robe. It reminded me of something totally different.

That has happened to me. And I was told it is wise, when it won't, don't. Thanks for the comment on my post.

I'm with you -- no confessional. But fictional? I'm all for that. :-)
