This was written in response to the prompt from this week's Carry On Tuesday.
It was the third day of the new year
Very early that day, the sun stayed away
and offered up fog instead of gold rays
If a man were to have appeared
I would have believed he wasn't there
I would have called him a hallucination
A ghost - a fallacy - a spirit created from my
Own yearnings. "Pull over and stop!"
I cried, wanting to collect forever
The image of that misty, moisty morning
when I felt my tears in my toes, my gut, my
jaunty knit hit but didn't manage
to have the courage to let the
tears take their standard, gravity
driven course it normally follows
Perhaps it is I who is the
Ghost - the fallacy - the spirit

Loved what you've done with the theme of uncried tears.
