Well, this was nothing short of wonderful. The ending made me smile a mile wide.

Also, there are times I feel the exact same way...

I'd say you broke through the barrier and brewed an nice broth

Anthony North

Beautiful and witty words today. Enjoyed this.

David Moolten

Great use of the prompt, and nifty wordplay throughout, but especially the last three lines.

Francis Scudellari

The lines and their p's are still percolating in my head. Great sounds in this.

You capture very well what happens to most writers. I especially liked these lines: "Plaster polyglot formed in its place, neither porous nor pocked." Also love the ending.

This is a delightful poem on the process of writing. 'Percolate again - please' is genius.

Grounded plea - good brew.

I absolutely love the second last stanza :) placements of p's!! :)

Hi Julie,

I have finally managed to visit via your comment at Tumblewords! I couldn't get your link at WRP to connect (Therese seems to have had a similar problem). BUT, I'm glad I made it because this is great. Your procrastination just allowed the p's to percolate a little longer and produce a powerful brew!
