In our "And Now You Write" lesson today, we wrote about images and inspiration. I spoke of a scene from Under the Tuscan Sun.
I searched You Tube and couldn't find the scene I was looking for, but I did find a scene that is image writing worthy.
Watch this clip all the way through. Note there is no dialogue, there are only visual images and there is musical accompaniment.
Watch it a second time and randomly stop the film in a freeze frame.
Whatever visual image is "caught", write that image:
make it into a short story, a vignette, a poem, a song, a scene from a play.
Just write it, allow yourself to play....
Oh, and if you would like to visit the image lesson and then come back to this one OR do the image lesson AFTER this one, that would be, as they say (in my imagination!) in Italy, "That would be fantastico!")
