Announcing the Final Wild Wednesday Virtual Writing Camp Extravaganza of the Summer

Writing Campers loved it so much last week and received so much benefit, we are sharing in the Wild Wednesday festivities one more time:

Writing Camp Extravaganza - July 14, 2010 - Two Sessions for you to enjoy... either one or both -

8 AM Pacific time or 4 PM Pacific Time.

It's a brand new kind of Camp created especially for you!

 

Lots of you have incredibly fun memories of campfires and hiking and swimming and riding a horse and hanging out at the craft shack. Some of you may have a few less than stellar memories. 

What I would LOVE is for you to engage with is the possibility of a brand new kind of camp for adults that incorporates all the fun stuff and leaves behind all that not-so-fun stuff. We use WRITING as our focus for Camp-style fun. We use writing prompts and games to inspire our words. This isn't a camp where I promise you will "write a sales letter in seven steps" or "write an ecourse in 5 days!" but what happens is writers find their words flowing with such ease it makes those sort of writing tasks sooooo much simpler and turn up the notch on having fun with that brand of writing.

 What I would LOVE is for you to engage in is the possibility of changing your life through using your creative side and your love of words and writing to change your life and the trajectory of your future writing life by attending Virtual Writing Camp (or in some cases, in person Writing Camp) with Julie Jordan Scott.

What I would LOVE, Love, LOVE and would make me do hand flips is for you to join in the Wild Writing Wednesday Camp Extravaganza where you can experience some of the most joyful, most passionate aspects of camp as my guest.

Writing Campers may choose from one of (or both) TWO thirty minute free Writing Campfires on Wednesday, June 30, 2010: one at 8 AM  Pacific Time and one at 4 PM Pacific Time. During these campfires we will be experiencing usual camp activities: playing writing games, enjoying writing stories, and doing some free writing and passing the talking stick – we will be playfully and thoughtfully engaging our selves, our writing and each other.

YES!  You may attend one or both campfires OR if you are unable to attend live, you may download one of the recordings of the campfires.

There will be some special give-aways and invitations for whomever attends camp and special announcements will be heard first at camp.

Since I can remember, I'd sit and stare at a blank page forever when I had to write. That started to change this winter. I had a great time a writing camp. There's no right or wrong way. You know I'm all about breaking rules anyway! Even an inkling of interest, check this out. Julie makes it easy and fun. If I can do it, so can you. And it's FREE:-) and just 30 minutes out of your day !
