What are YOU grateful for today?

Today is January 3 and I am so grateful for....

1. The Tuscany book I bought at Barnes and Noble to keep
my Italian dreams at the surface (and in my heart, soul,
mind and gut).

2.  My car, which is still driveable even though it
was totalled by the insurance company.... so unti
the settlement, I will still be able to get around.

3. Hank - and his being back to his usual self.

6. Courage to put one foot in front of the
other, and the other, and the other.

What are you grateful for today?

First Gratitude List for 2006

It is January 1, 2006 and I am soooo soooo sooo incredible grateful for.....

1. An incredibly powerful connection with my children
during our time in Flagstaff.

2.  Being OK with just being OK with my extended
family because giving permission to be completely "OK"
is better than allowing myself to get angry or heart over
my inability to change others.  THANK YOU "Garden
State" how I adore that movie!

3.  The Pine-Cone drop, even though it was just me and
my three children... and along with that, I am grateful
for my physical strength which allowed me to
carry both 42 pound Sam and 72 pound Emma on my
shoulders! (Not at once, separately!)

4.  Having Katherine be the first person I spoke to
in 2006 - I adore my not-so-little girl.

5.  Mozart's CD "Chill WIth MOzart: and hearing
Leland Sklar again during the ride back to
Bakersfield from Flagstaff.

6.  Target Gift Cards

7.  The miracles of the Lowell Observatory being
open yesterday when it wasn't supposed to be open
for us (I know that was a Divine gift especially to
us and many others benefitted!)

8.  Snow flurries last night, another Miracle especially
for Emma

9.  Disposable cameras for my budding photographer,
director - sAM!  "There, just like that... got it,
got it... ACTION!" he says.
