Today is December 20, What are YOU grateful for today?

Today is December 20 and I am so grateful for....

The scent of our Christmas tree, as yet undecorated,
garnishing the room with wonder

Last night at Zingo's after rehearsal with
Jenn and Joe, Cora and Jessica (Corrica) and Dan.
Silly, just silly and laughing is SOOOO much
fun to do!

The necklace from the cast of "Miracle" (I
am wearing it right now) and the card which
they all signed for me, so very kind!

The last audience of "Miracle" - those who
told me they were so sad when I wasn't in the
show AND so delighted to discover I directed
this one.... (I thought it was just ONE audience
member who remembered me, but by the end of
the day a whole SLEW of them echoed the same
sentiment.)

My morning pages notebook, a continuation of
one from last Spring which I never finished and
now, I am ready....

I am soooooo very grateful!

What are YOU grateful for today!

Today is December 19 and I am sooooo grateful!

* The Sacred Sixty in its newest combination which
is sooooo luscious.  And to the second group, the
Sacred Sisterhood of Writers... which is blossoming
in my heart and will be sent to the world sometime
today and tomorrow - it feels SOOOOO good!

* Sunrise, glorious and unique each and every day.

* "Miracle" cast and crew - Wow. It's Over?

* Yesterday's audience, many of whom told me they
were disappointed that I wasn't in the show this year
AND were SOOOOO congratulatory when they
realized I Directed the show.... I love St. Francis
church.....!!!!

* Coffee

* Extra time with my children during the next two weeks.

* Did I mention "Miracle" cast and crew?

* The character work with the 5 Women Cast last night.
A'ha's are brewing and actors are wrestling with
character stuff which is REALLY excellent!

* Affirming conversation with Hal at the end of
last week... in fact, a plethora of affirming
conversations with numerous people.

* The final playing of "You are a Miracle" last
night.  How much crying can I do in one 15 minute
period? How many heartfelt hugs can I share? Play
"You are a Miracle" and find out!

I am sooooooo grateful!

What are YOU grateful for today, December 16, 2005?

The ability to actually WATCH "Miracle" (even though
I was running sound!).... it was truly miraculous
to sit back and see the glorious show I helped
to create!

Even though I didn't get to Kosmos for karaoke,
it was fun to go greet the 5 Women Cast members
who were there during intermission and
collect lots of hugs

Dan ushering at "Miracle" and really enjoying the
show.... he even teared up at several places including
Emma's incredible Dutch interpretation.

Today, December 9, 2005 I am so grateful for...

The "Miracle" cast and crew pulling through what could have
been a horrid situation... everyone was content, smiling, challenged,
focused... and made it work.

Smith's comment: "This show really has heart. When it was over, I
wasn't upset at all. That has never happened before, usually I
would have been upset."

Danny's comment: "I really like this show - I have seen it six times
now and I look forward to it every time."

Not sure how to phrase this - I am glad I am
approachable enough that my cast members feel
open and able to make requests for Warm Ups -
like Nikkita writing and saying, "Can we play
the 'I am a Miracle' game for warm up? and
Sarah bringing a musical warm up... it makes it
feel really good...both to have the contribution
and to feel valued.

Today, December 7 I am soooo grateful for....

Today I am sooooo grateful

for another performance of
"Miracle" going well to an over-flowing house
filled with people who were having a very good time.

for the bright blue sky out my window

for the cup of coffee I am drinking

for the first meeting of the cast of "5 Women"
tonight - I survived casting!

for the chance to hang out at Border's all day
today wrapping gifts and reading and writing

for laughter, love and grace
