I am grateful for the strength in my arms so that
I could carry the 47+ pound 4 year old Sam
through parts of Hurricane Harbor yesterday
as he SLEPT (like a ton of bricks!).... because
I just don't know how much longer he will
fall asleep in my arms. I am going to treasure
it as long as I can so I will keep working out
my arms as long as I can!
I am grateful for the chance to see "Closer" and
"Ancient History" both at the Empty Space this
weekend. I am glad I went on different nights as
both left me a lot to think about - and experience.
I think if I did both on the same night, it would
be too much for both my heart and intellect.
I am grateful for Claudia, who sat with me
during "Closer" even though she probably
heard more about my life in a brief amount
of time than she ever could have imagined!
(that's what happens when one is witness
to an emotionally evocative work of art!)
I am grateful for Emma - precious little love.
I am grateful for 30 Strength Sunscreen.
Neither the children nor myself were sunburned
yesterday - there is some more brown-ness,
but no red (a breakthrough for my fair skin!)
I am grateful I finally got my "Laugh-In" bio
written - (my least favorite kind of writing) and
I am grateful I have the opportunity to write
it because it means I am performing.
I am grateful for the cool breeze coming
from the fan behind me and that Sam is napping
while Katherine and Emma are out.
I am grateful I will have time to rest this afternoon
before rehearsal.
I am grateful, I am soooo grateful.
