Today, July 29 I am soooo grateful....

Last night's Love Fest disguised as a
"Laugh-In" performance and a night of
karaoke at Kosmos.

Wow. That one deserves two spaces.
I can't even list all the people who were
there that I just adore to pieces - and I
am even thrilled with my own performance.

Talking to Brian and saying how much fun
I am having and he said to me, in reflection
to something I said, "Well, you don't make
mistakes."  And I thought to myself - "You
know, I don't....."... thought I don't usually
give myself credit for that, it is just a matter
of course.

A luscious breakfast with my girls this morning -
special pre-camp celebration

Restful time all the way around this morning -
preparing for a hectic tomorrow and a surreal
"sans-girls" time next week.

Today, July 28, I am soooo grateful....

I got my cell phone back! WOWZA! An
honest, loving person returned it to me -
thank GOODNESS!

Rehearsal for "Fame" went well, plus when trying
on my "Laugh-In" contest, we found I have lost
some weight during this wild dance mania
rehearsal schedule.

Hearing from my old, (I thought misplaced!)
friend, John Butler - one time waiter in
Carrows who became a friend... and I was
perhaps something of a surrogate mother
and mentor to him - and email out of the blue -
gotta LOVE those!

The cool, crisp air this morning - and the blue,
blue sky which greeted my newly awake eyes
as I looked out my bedroom window

My trusty van who drives me everywhere I need
to go - day after day, week after week, month
after month

New beginnings...........

Today, June 27, 2005 I am soooooo grateful for.........

A fun and invigorating dance rehearsal last night
for "Fame" - even if I did get sweatier than I
have been in years -

The chance to begin again - over and over and over

Forgiveness

My washer and dryer

The intriguing people I spend my days with,
everyday

Alllowing the semi-cool morning breeze to
wash through my window in the morning.

That I am writing my Gratitude List, early in
the day - for the 3rd day in a row............

Today, July 25 I am sooooo grateful for....

My morning walk with Buttercup and Hank, saw
Callum again - my interesting friend from
Scotland who reminds me of Maria.

The final session of 42 Days of Writing Passionately
for this go-around. (Next session due to begin
on January 10, 2006).

A sense of breakthrough - can't quite put it into
words yet, but I can feel it.

My strong, muscular legs - worked them well
this morning and I can feel their rejoicing presence.

The last week before the girls go to Calvin
Crest for a week!

The Peter Pan Cast (etc) Party last night - and
I especially loved that the entire cast is grieving
for the painting over of the back wall -

Pony-tail holders

My pens and notebooks - and pencils, lets not
forget - and back-to-school sales where I can
lustfully stock up.

Having an excellent talk with Maurice when I
drove him home from "Laugh-In"

The "Fame" cast who came to see "Laugh-In"
tonight - what a joy to perform for my NEW cast,
we are starting to feel more and more connected.

The new washing machine - hooray for doing
LAUNDRY!

My computer and email that WORKS! WORKS!
WORKS!! It just keeps coming through!

Today, July 19, 2005 I am soooo grateful..........

I am grateful I have another day to play within

I am grateful I have the ability to type

I am grateful for the fan blowing mildly cool
air against my skin

I am grateful for opportunities that graciously
unfold for me everyday

I am grateful for the VBS my children are
attending this week

I am grateful for the people who bless me with
their friendship.

I am grateful this email problem eminating from
David's computer is being solved today.

I am grateful that I am free to be joyous.

Today, July 18, 2005 I am sooo grateful

The opening of "Laugh-In" - it went very well and
I loved certain audience members, especially
that one woman who LOVED me so much....(or
was that remembering Ruth Buzzi?) but she
commented *(loudly and out loud)* over and
over and over again.

The cast party for "Peter Pan" yesterday - and
Emma's sheer enjoyment of it... what a blessing.

Forgiveness of myself for being such a bubble
head sometimes. "Earth to Julie" and I know, in
the end, it is ALL GOOD!

The techs from Delano High School who I know
are at work fixing whatever messed up David's
computer so his email will stop deluging me
and blocking the arrival of my own email!

Today, July 15 I am sooo grateful.........

Today I am grateful for fresh, clean laundry

Today I am grateful for the blinds in my living
room, blocking out the searing Mid-July
Bakersfield heat

Today I am grateful we are opening "Laugh-In"

Today I am grateful "Fame" starts tomorrow AND
Justin understands that I can not be at read-through
(I am working "Peter Pan")... and it was great
to be a part of his birthday celebration last night.

Today I am grateful for all the hugs I received
last night

Today I am grateful Brian told me that Bob
said, "Julie really nails Ruth Buzzi" - a positive
comment from some one I don't think I have
ever heard a positive comment from before....
