Having a very cool discussion with Ashleymarie’s brother who is in the Rocky Horror band. This kid, a senior in high school? My matchmaking mind thinks, in five years, not a bad choice for Katherine to date… oy!
Getting some extra sleep today after keeping myself awake after “Rocky” last night – from 3:45 to 5:30 AM was tough and I did it… and I am grateful for Adela for calling me (once again) to make sure I was on my way to class, which I was – albeit very tired!
My cell phone
Coffee and Diet Coke
My children, even in their loudness
Sam – hooray that he sat through his first ever play, which means he can start “hanging” with the Girls and Me on our theatre romps around town/
Kahlil Gibran
Julia Cameron
Anne Lamott – so enjoying her new book
Everyone in the 42 Days of Passionate Prosperity Program. The experience this time has been remarkable and extraordinary from the very beginning, and now to know we are ending? I am incredibly blessed.
That Katherine and Emma feel better today - hooray, life is feeling normal again with them.....
And that I am not going to work Rocky next Saturday night - although I might be in the audience..... will be happy to contribute on Friday night and then... be complete with it.
What are you grateful for today?
What perfect timing for me to read this.
I am sooooooo grateful for...
Having the better part of today all to myself.
Spending 2 hours at the pool writing my morning pages, swimming, soaking up the sun and reading. I feel SO GOOD right now.
Having the fixings in the house to make a delicious and healthy dinner tonight for my family who will all be home by that time.
Having the fixings and determinations to make baklava for the first time. Not only will this make a tasty treat but it will allow me to face my fear of phyllo and accomplish one of the tasks I laid out for myself in my Everyperson's Olympics here: http://melanieforbes.blogspot.com/2005/04/everymans-olympics-adventure-decathlon.html
At least three more hours of alone time in which I will clean my desk while watching a "Spiritual Guide to Weightloss".
The bird who greeted me when I came home from Kevin's birthday party last night at 3am.
Kevin who quoted Shakespeare:
"It was the nightingale, and not the lark, That pierced the fearful hollow of thine ear;"
Sleeping in was nice.
This is shaping up to be one of the best weekends in a long time.

This Monday morning,
I am sooo trateful to be living 5 minutes from Wakodahatchee Wetlands in sunny Florida, to have this place to readily connect with Nature, to connect with people, to connect with energy and peace.
I am sooo grateful for the Internet and e-mail, places to connect with people and myself, to inspire and be inspired.
I am sooo grateful for the talents that I have and my ability to inspire people.
Reading what I wrote, it seems like I am sooo grateful for CONNECTIONS and INSPIRATION.
I am sooo grateful for discoveries and smiles.
I am sooo grateful for my pen and paper and Morning pages, the tools for my "releasing" this AM (on a bench in Wakodahatchee looking out on the water and lush greenery.)
I am sooo grateful to be me, with a wonderful family and friends.
I am sooo grateful for them and who they are for me.
I am sooo grateful!

I am sooo grateful...
For the elevator here at work that knows ahead of time and meets me with its doors thrown wide and welcoming.
For the kind and often funny people I work with.
For the Asian salad I made for dinner last night. Light AND delicious!
For the loss of six pounds discovered just this morning.
For the free time that keeps coming my way! I have changed my mind about time. I have an abundance of time. I say it and it is so!
