Today, February 8, 2006 I am so grateful for....

1.  The folks in the 42 days of Writing Passionately
Program - incredible, marvelous, magnificent

2.  The honor of making a contribution to V-Day, this
time as a Tecchie thanks to Michelle's request

3.  My cell phone

4. The Tavern spots on KBAK and KGET - now looking
for "What's next?!"

5.  Finger snap manifestation stuff, happened again
today "out of the blue, into the light" so cool.

6.  Choosing love once again.

7.  Bargain books! Yes, yes, yes!

8.  Katherine's role - Diana in Anne of Green Gables,
soooooooo excellent and happy for her!

9.  The Wellness Times, my article in it and
the chance to spread my joy and the wonder
of my friend's contributions as well.

10. Making continued connections within the community.

Today, February 6, 2006 I am so grateful...

To be awake early

To have had a delightful afternoon with friends
yesterday, simply being with them, chatting
and laughing.

For Emma, Sam and Katherine - each one unique and
blissfully glad to be their own unique selves

That tonight is the Drum Circle! YIPPEEE!

For the precious people who arrive in my
programs - I feel so abundantly blessed
by each heart which joins mine

My Dear Book friends, re-reading "The Poet's
Companion"... in spots and completing the
exercises... and remembering earlier works
I have done from that book.

Jardin de la Terre and the scent of Cedar

My hands, my eyes, the softness of my hair

The train whistle I hear in the distance,
reminding me of my extended family

The trash collector who is right now taking
away my trash. THANK YOU!

Sharing the Gratitude, February 4, 2006

I am grateful for seeing Jeny last night
at Carrow's and being my completely off-beat
self and not chasing that aspect of me
under the table or behind the counter.

I am grateful Emma has a birthday party -
a SLEEPOVER! - to attend tonight.

I am grateful Sam is such a little sponge,
and is learning to type (and read!) from
plugging words into the computer... LOL.

I am grateful to be awake nice and early
today....

I am grateful for the life of my friend
Jacques - I am so glad I knew him while
he was here.

I am grateful for my writing lessons,
I am so glad people gain from them.

I am grateful for my books.

I am grateful for the work of Diane Ackerman

I am grateful for the birdsongs I heard
on my walk with Hank and Buttercup.

I am gratful that I met the women from
jardin de la terre - the contacts are
very, very good -

I am grateful for my new glasses, which
will be here in less than a week!

I am grateful, so grateful.....

New Moon, New Year, Renewed Life Gratitude - January 29, 2006

The Moon will be officially new here - in 11
minutes and once again I am incredibly
grateful that I have a reason to wake
up early - my 42 Days of Writing Passionately
Students.... I am expected at 5:30 AM so
I arrive..... and am grateful.

I am also fiercely optimistic.  I could
physically sense an opening starting right
before midnight and it continues this
morning - a woooosh wooooosh wooooosh of
"Yes, Yes, YES!"

On this 44th Anniversary of My Birth, I am
grateful for my mother, for carrying me in
my womb and allowing my little self to blossom
into exactly who I am, sent here by divine
appointment.

I am grateful for the artists who dot my
daily life... especially the ones who inspire
me to create with truth, beauty, love,
passion and peace.

I am grateful for the souls God has entrusted
me to raise, each one unique and precious,

I am grateful for those individuals who
will have a significant impact on my life this
year, some of whom I know already and some of
whom are waiting in the wings of my consciousness-
listening for the cue of spirit to call them.

I am grateful for Mary Oliver, Rainer Rilke, Julia
Cameron, Steve Martin, Alan Ball, Richard
Rogers, Stephen Sondheim, Mary Cassat, Natalie
Goldberg, Sylvia Plath,  Sue Monk Kidd, SARK,
Basho, and YOU.

I am grateful - I am so grateful!

Today, January 28, 2006 I am so grateful for....

I found some missing paperwork - that had been
stressing out, simmering in the back of my
consciousness and re-appeared - YES! by
divine delivery... so exciting!

Listening to the folks gathering so early in
the day for the 42 Days of Writing Passionately
Program... artists, lovers, inspirers all....

The snuggles with Sam last night as we watched
a movie -

and Noble, finding a couple of luscious
surprises there in the stacks

The opening that is being created, beginning
tomorrow - syncronistically on the day of
a New Moon and the anniversary of my birth

call some of the miraculous people, sent to
me recently through Divine Delivery...so precious!

For the presence of Tricia and Diane at my
show yesterday - their laughter and sparkly
personalities was such a light to my weekend.

For my comforter which kept me nice and warm throughout
the night

For pencils and the ability to revise

For Frances Mayes' book, "The Discovery of Poetry"
which I have read before and yet each time I pick
it up, I awaken to something new

For patience

for coffee

for massage therapists

for my ample supply of books

for the ability to take a rest when I need it

for the respectable houses we had all weekend
for "5 Women"

for all my incredible students and fellow travelers
along this journey of life!
