I have had an exceptionally busy week creatively.
I knew tech week was on the horizon for “First Kisses” and I
started getting stressed about it on Tuesday or Wednesday. I wrote poetry,
anyway – including getting started on the February Mini-Challenge for
ReadWritePoem, but other than that, my writing was pretty flat.
I did manage to get a new computer (used, reconditioned, what have
you) but lost several files when my eldest daughter made separate accounts,
something I didn’t want to have happen as this is supposed to be MY personal
machine. Rolling eyes I should know better.
I managed to keep up with my 365 Projects, almost. Only missed a
day or two in there, haven’t finished cataloguing. Not bad, though – given
everything.
Over the weekend I became the woodworking queen in preparation for
building the “shack” part of our set. The theater hasn’t seen such an elaborate
set in a LONG time and poor Cameron and I are not going to get much sleep this
week. The late show comes in and practices after us, so the time to build is
primarily after midnight.
Unfortunately, we can’t have the young uns from our show help then
because they have to get up to go to school. Like I said, I have been stressing
about this since Tuesday or Wednesday. Giggles
I am finding it funny that our biggest task in this set is building
a HOUSE – a Secret place – which is definitely HOME to our characters John and
Mary.
Here are several photos for you to enjoy… and please send positive
vibes as we weave the show together.
With Much Love,
Julie

Can you feel them? Can you feel the positive vibes blasting your way?
I am continually amazed and inspired by all that you do. You are one creative love mama goddess!
And I can SO see you rolling your eyes over the computer. And yeah, I knew you would remember Mario - blush. I'm sure he's bald and pudgy now! Thank goodness we've aged gracefully :)

Loved the pictures. Fascinated by what you are doing with the play and building sets--wow! Last time I helped with anything like that was in high school. So much fun!
So glad you stopped by my blog and we found each other. :)
