I have a Muse. My own, personal, mind opening, spirit-bending
muse. Since I have known him, I have experienced more
sensory and experiential delights than I had experienced
prior.... oh, man, I can't even quantify it.
I saw this quote from Anais Nin, and it made me think of
my muse.
She wrote:
“We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.”

My Muse comes alongside and stretches not only as I see me,
but also how I experience me AND the rest of my life.
My Muse impacts me whether he is present or distant, but
the moments of presence are the most precious of all.
I find it nearly impossible to distinguish or describe
our relationship because it defies human definition, it goes
outside of the norms.
I simply know it is good.
Purely good.
Sacredly pure.
When my mind starts to think (not always a good thing) I
worry, I analyze, I even self-pontificate.
My muse and I have a finite time to be in close, physical
proximity. I am feeling that space with every ounce of
my being right now. It skids across my skin and occasionally
winks at me, reminding me to stay awake.

muse. Since I have known him, I have experienced more
sensory and experiential delights than I had experienced
prior.... oh, man, I can't even quantify it.
