It has been far too long since I participated in Three Word Wednesday. I am delighted to add my short poem to the list today.
Which three words make up our prompt today?
Angelic; adjective: Of or relating to angels.
Foster; verb: Encourage or promote the development of (something, typically something regarded as good); bring up
Ruin; noun: the physical destruction or disintegration of something or the state of disintegrating or being destroyed;
My Poem: His Other's Ears
His environment fostered ruin, cultivated despair
His weakness constantly pitted against his other’s strength
Figurehead unlistening unencouraging thwarting
Ideas, tangling vision with belittled opinions
Even the most angelic sprouts from there
Would grow sour and bloated with ugly
Her ecru paraphrasing confused him,
Accustomed to the charcoal smears
Binding his ears closed
