Exact date, forgotten

So long since

I have felt your

Gentle acrid kiss

Upon my lips

I’m not unsettled

At the thought of you

Anymore

But somehow

Tonight

I long to hold you

And feel your

Caress on my chest

Your warm wetness

Welcoming me

Once again

Gentle, acrid kiss...the kiss of a smoker. I don't miss the stench. But your poem is a tender reminiscence.
