April is National Poetry Month and I found myself too riddled by all my travel to actually write a poem-a-day. Instead, I am using June to wax poetic and will do so here, on my poetry blog.
Ironic, because the first two days of June were spent traveling and while I did write poetry, I have yet to post those words. Will do very soon.
I am still catching up energetically with waking up in Bakersfield again.
can this cool breeze
be marked "Early June"? Its fingerprints say "Early April" and my perpetual mistrust coats it with the varnish of Summer sweat, right around the calendar's corner writing my way into the long, slim fingers of dawn's cool breeze reminds me for this moment, right in this here and now
my feelings
remain nameless
